Fatal Fury 2 Overview
Fatal Fury 2 is a fighting game where players engage in one-on-one duels using punches and kicks. The roster consists of eight selectable combatants, including returning characters and several new entrants. These fighters participate in a tournament organized by a new antagonist, following the defeat of a previous adversary.
Combat takes place across two planes, a foreground and a background, a system carried over from the first game. A key enhancement allows fighters to shift between these planes at will through a specific button combination. The control scheme is more involved than its predecessor, utilizing four separate attack buttons.
Victory is achieved by defeating all opponents, culminating in a series of matches against four boss characters. The tournament structure dictates that only a single fighter can emerge as the ultimate winner.
