Battletoads / Double Dragon Overview
"Battletoads / Double Dragon" is a game where players control a team of five warriors defending Earth from an overwhelming threat. The setting involves urban environments and the interior of a massive enemy vessel, as the heroes advance toward a final objective.
Opposing them is the Colossus, a city-sized battleship that has nearly eliminated planetary defenses with its laser cannons. Ground troops from this ship are conducting mop-up operations across the globe, leaving the five protagonists as the last line of defense.
The team consists of the Battletoads, who are familiar with galactic threats, alongside the Double Dragon duo, Billy and Jimmy Lee. Their mission requires them to combat enemy forces through various locales, utilizing a repertoire of special moves to overcome opposition. The gameplay involves progressing from the streets to the core of the ship to destroy it.
