Battletoads / Double Dragon is a cooperative action game where players control a team of five warriors. These fighters combine the Battletoads with the Lee brothers from Double Dragon to oppose a massive invasion.
The setting involves Earth being attacked by a city-sized battleship named Colossus. This vessel has deployed troops across the planet and used its lasers to neutralize most defensive forces. The objective is to advance from the streets to the ship's interior and ultimately destroy it.
Gameplay revolves around utilizing a variety of special combat moves to overcome enemy forces. The player must fight through these opposition forces across different environments to reach the core of the threat.
