Mini-Putt Overview
Mini Putt is a miniature golf video game supporting up to four participants. Players can engage in full matches or utilize a practice mode to attempt any hole across the available courses.
The game features four distinct courses, each presenting a different level of difficulty. The Deluxe and Challenge courses are noted for their challenging layouts and severe hills, with Challenge being the most demanding. The Classic course incorporates moving obstacles like animated bridges. In contrast, the Traditional course provides a more standard miniature golf experience where successful shots often rely on banking the ball off the walls.
Gameplay involves a two stage aiming and power system. A crosshair is first positioned to indicate the intended direction and distance of the shot. Initiating the swing starts a vertical power meter; pressing the button again sets the shot's strength. The meter then moves horizontally along an accuracy bar. Striking the button when the marker is centered is crucial, as deviations to the left or right will cause the ball to hook in that direction.
