Ice Hockey Overview
Ice Hockey is an action title supporting both solo and competitive two-player matches. Before a match begins, participants assemble their squad by assigning each team member one of three distinct body types, which directly determine their capabilities on the ice. These range from a quick but physically weak skater to a powerful yet slow one, with a balanced option in between.
During play, the perspective scrolls to keep up with the puck. User control shifts depending on the situation: while defending, players can select any team member, but on offense, control is automatically given to the skater currently in possession of the puck. Physical confrontations are part of the simulation, and penalties can result from these altercations.
The experience can be tailored through several adjustable settings. Match periods offer a choice of three different lengths, and the overall tempo of play can be modified across five different speed levels.
