Lee Trevino's Fighting Golf Overview
Lee Trevino's Fighting Golf is a golf simulation supporting one to four participants. It offers two distinct 18-hole courses, one American and one Japanese. Multiple players can share controllers, with the first and third using one and the second and fourth using another.
The simulation provides several modes of play. These include a standard stroke play competition, a Nassau game where points are wagered, and a practice option for individual holes. Player control involves a three-press swing mechanic for timing, with directional input influencing shot trajectory and the potential to apply backspin.
Course terrain varies significantly, affecting play. Areas include the tee, fairway, several types of rough and sand, greens, water hazards, and out-of-bounds zones. Club selection is a separate function available to the player.
Four characters are selectable, each with a unique balance of attributes. They range from a powerful but challenging hitter to a player with fantastic control, an all-around average competitor, and a specialist with unequalled accuracy and a unique putting skill.
