Speedball presents a futuristic sports simulation where two five-player teams face off on a compact court. The objective involves throwing a ball into the opposing team's goal, with the game permitting unrestricted physical contact during play.
Matches can be approached through a knockout cup tournament or as standalone two-player contests. Prior to a game, a referee can be bribed to provide advantages such as a head-start or enhanced player abilities.
