Seal Team Overview
Seal Team is a simulation of United States military operations during the Vietnam War. The player directly commands one character who issues orders to a squad, with that leader's capabilities developing over time.
Mission objectives vary, encompassing tasks such as eliminating enemy forces, destroying structures, retrieving items or personnel, capturing specific individuals, and conducting reconnaissance for artillery strikes. Environmental hazards like stake pits and tripwires present a challenging layer of danger, requiring the lead soldier to identify traps to protect the team.
Visual identification is streamlined for gameplay; enemy combatants and non-combatants are distinguished by the color of their clothing. Naval craft, including Swift boats and PBRs, feature in operations both for transportation and for providing supporting fire.
