Madden NFL ’94 Overview
Madden NFL '94 is a football simulation for the SNES, representing the third installment in its series. The game offers a substantial roster of eighty distinct teams, drawing from several historical and contemporary sources.
Game modes include standard exhibition matches and sudden death overtime. For a longer campaign, players can guide any of the twenty-eight teams from the 1993 season through a full schedule or enter them into a playoff bracket. Historical Super Bowl champions and All Star franchise teams are also available for playoff competition.
The team selection encompasses thirty-eight past Super Bowl participants, a dozen All Star franchises dating to 1950, and two special "All-Madden" squads. Progress in a season is recorded using a password system, rather than through conventional save data storage.
