Super Mario All-Stars Overview
Super Mario All-Stars compiles four earlier platform games originally for the NES. The core mechanics and stage layouts from the originals are preserved, while the presentation receives updated visuals and audio. A new feature allows progress to be saved.
The collection encompasses adventures where Mario, often with Luigi, confronts various antagonists. These include rescuing a princess from Bowser, navigating a version with deceptive items like poison mushrooms, liberating a dream world named Subcon from Wart, and reclaiming the Mushroom Kingdom from Bowser and his Koopalings who have transformed the kings.
