Forgotten Worlds Overview

Forgotten Worlds is a side scrolling shooter where players control a jet pack equipped soldier. The protagonist, one of two muscular characters, must defend the planet from an alien invasion.
Combat involves a unique aiming system where a satellite orbits the character, determining the direction of fire independently of movement. Defeated enemies leave behind currency that can be spent between stages. These shops offer various upgrades including new weapons, protective gear, and health restoration items.
Progress through the game is gated by large enemy encounters at the conclusion of each area, which must be defeated to continue.
