Blaster Master 2 Overview
Blaster Master 2 is an action platformer where the player alternates between controlling a tank and its pilot. The tank, named Sophia, is equipped for combat with two distinct weapon systems and can jump and roll through environments.
The narrative follows Jason, who must rebuild Sophia after a surviving enemy from a prior conflict destroys it. This foe intends to use the tank's components in a scheme to reach and dominate the Earth's surface.
Gameplay involves scenarios where Sophia's design limits certain movements, such as climbing. In these instances, Jason exits the vehicle to proceed on foot, creating a dynamic between vehicular and infantry combat throughout the levels.
