Rampage is a game where players control one of three mutated humans: a gorilla, a lizard, or a werewolf. Their objective is to demolish city structures, an activity that draws hostile attention from law enforcement and military forces.
Gameplay involves attacking buildings until they collapse, while also dealing with armed opposition. Players can either eliminate these threats or attempt to evade their fire. Sustaining the characters requires consuming items like plants found in the environment; neglecting this need causes them to revert to their human forms.
The experience supports cooperative play for up to three individuals, each taking the role of one of the transformed characters.
