Journey to Silius is a side scrolling platform game set in a future where space colonization has become necessary. The player controls Jay McCray, whose father was killed in a terrorist attack on a research colony in the Silius system.
Jay's objective is to eliminate the terrorists and complete his father's research. This involves progressing through six distinct stages, each culminating in a confrontation with a challenging boss. The stages are defended by numerous robotic enemies.
To aid in this mission, various weapons can be located within the levels. Acquiring these items facilitates progress through the terrorist fortress.
