Mighty Bomb Jack is a side scrolling platform game, a sequel that shifts the series away from its arcade puzzle origins. The player controls a caped superhero whose objective is to collect bombs scattered throughout the stages.
Enemies, which emerge from objects like crates, must be avoided as contact is harmful. The visual settings include new environments such as forests and clouds, alongside returning locales like pyramids and sphinx themed areas.
