Paperboy is a game where the player takes on the role of a newspaper delivery person. The primary task involves successfully delivering papers to specific houses that have subscribed.
This core objective is made challenging by various moving hazards. These include vehicles, animals, and pedestrians like skateboarders and construction workers, which all pose threats during the route.
A secondary, destructive goal runs parallel to the delivery duty. The player is encouraged to cause property damage at houses that are not on the customer list, adding a layer of deliberate chaos to the simulation.
