Street Combat is a 2D fighting title for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Its premise involves a global tournament where martial artists and other combatants compete.
Players engage in one-on-one battles on a 2D plane, controlling a character's movement and attacks. The objective is to defeat an opponent using special moves, which are executed through specific controller inputs, while also avoiding incoming attacks.
For solo play, the mode centers on a character named Steven, who is available in two versions. This mode consists of seven matches, each decided by a best two-out-of-three format against a series of different fighters. A separate two-player versus mode allows unrestricted selection from the full roster of characters.
