Target Earth is a futuristic shooter where Earth faces an invasion by robotic forces. Players control the pilot of a versatile mech, a machine capable of both terrestrial and space combat.
The gameplay shifts between two distinct environments. On planetary surfaces, the action unfolds as a side scrolling experience where the mech can run and jump to navigate. In the zero gravity of space levels, movement is not restricted to a single plane, allowing free movement in any direction.
Combat is supported by a wide array of armaments, including machine guns, lasers, and grenades, which can be equipped to the mech.
