Bulls vs. Blazers and the NBA Playoffs is an updated basketball simulation from Electronic Arts, focusing on the 1992 NBA postseason. It includes the playoff teams and players from that year, as well as the Eastern and Western Conference All-Star squads.
The game retains several mechanics from its predecessors, such as a detailed statistical system, an instant replay function, and the ability to make player substitutions. A free throw timing meter and signature player moves, some of which are newly added, are also part of the core gameplay.
While the title is part of a series, the Genesis version offers exclusive features. These allow players to construct custom All-Star teams and to call specific defensive plays during a game.
