Chavez Overview
Chavez presents a conventional boxing simulation, featuring a roster of twenty four professional fighters. These include notable Latino athletes such as Speedo Garcia and Ron Ronaldo, with the game named after Julio Cesar Chavez. Each boxer possesses distinct attributes that affect performance.
The interface employs a side scrolling perspective during matches. Player orientation within the ring is indicated by a small overhead diagram, while vital statistics are tracked with separate meters for health and power at the screen's bottom.
Available play options consist of standard Exhibition and Career modes. A customization system allows for the creation of up to seven unique boxers, whose data can be stored via battery backup. The in game menus are presented exclusively in Spanish.
