Spider-Man Overview
Spider-Man for the Sega Genesis presents a scenario where the hero is falsely accused of a major crime. Wilson Fisk, also known as the Kingpin, has claimed responsibility for planting a bomb in New York City and framed Spider-Man for the act.
This places the protagonist in a dual mission: he must both locate and deactivate the explosive device within a strict 24-hour period and gather evidence to clear his name. To prove his innocence to authorities and his employer J. Jonah Jameson, Spider-Man utilizes a camera during his investigation.
The journey to confront Kingpin involves navigating a city where Spider-Man is wanted by the police. His path is obstructed by several adversaries, including Dr. Octopus, Electro, and Venom, who must be overcome.
