Jeopardy! Overview
"Jeopardy!" for the Sega Genesis is an adaptation of the television quiz show. It incorporates the program's signature music and features the voice of the host, Alex Trebek. Players can compete against computer opponents or engage in multiplayer matches.
The gameplay is structured across two distinct rounds. Contestants select from presented categories, each containing clues phrased as brief descriptions. Providing the correct response, which must be a very short phrase, awards virtual currency. The monetary value is tied directly to the question's difficulty, with higher rewards for more challenging clues. An incorrect guess results in a penalty, deducting that amount from the player's score.
