Super Jeopardy! Overview
Super Jeopardy! adapts the television quiz show for the NES, preserving its core reverse question and answer format. Players are presented with an answer and must formulate the correct question.
Up to four individuals can play, with any empty slots occupied by computer opponents. The competition is structured through a series of quarter-final, semi-final, and final rounds. During play, a chosen answer from one of six categories is revealed, and contestants buzz in to attempt a response.
Upon buzzing in, a player has 80 seconds to input the question, with the game automatically providing the standard "What is..." opening phrase. An incorrect response results in a monetary penalty and allows the other contestants a chance to buzz in and answer, making the pacing challenging.
