Nomad Overview
In Nomad, the player assumes the role of a human astronaut whose mission goes awry, leading to rescue by a galactic Alliance fighting a mechanized threat. This narrative foundation supports a space simulation focused on exploration and interaction across hundreds of planets.
Gameplay integrates trading through a barter system with various alien races and action-oriented combat against hostile spacecraft. The player's ship can be outfitted with numerous customizable components, including weapons, defensive systems, and scanning equipment.
Unlike many space simulations, the experience is structured around a story-driven progression. This involves scripted conversations and information gathering alongside the core trading and combat activities, all set within a universe containing eleven distinct alien species.
