IndyCar Racing Overview
IndyCar Racing is a simulation of American open-wheel racing developed by Papyrus. It follows their earlier title Indianapolis 500 by four years and operates under an official license.
The simulation includes eight real tracks with accurate designs, along with authentic sponsor branding. Car handling is modeled to require attention to grip, racing lines, and the balance between throttle and brake, making for a challenging driving experience.
Features beyond the core racing include a detailed garage for vehicle setup, multiple replay angles reminiscent of television broadcasts, and visual damage where car parts can detach upon collision.
