Alien Storm Overview
Alien Storm is a mission based action game where players control one of three characters known as the Alien Busters. The team, consisting of Karla, Gordon, and Scooter, is tasked with stopping an extraterrestrial invasion that progresses from city streets to the alien mothership.
Gameplay involves moving through stages and clearing areas of hostile creatures. The aliens present a challenging threat as they increase in toughness and can conceal themselves within everyday objects like trashcans or mailboxes. Mission objectives vary, including operations like rescuing civilians or destroying UFOs.
Each character possesses a unique special attack, such as Gordon calling an airstrike or Scooter deploying teleportation bombs. These powerful abilities consume a significant portion of a shared energy resource, limiting their use. Defeated aliens sometimes leave behind flying heads that can be shot to replenish health or this energy, which is vital for survival.
The structure alternates between outdoor combat sequences and indoor shooting gallery segments where aliens emerge from fixed positions. Missions culminate in confrontations with boss aliens, and the complete campaign offers a cooperative mode for two players.
