Psycho Pinball Overview
Psycho Pinball is a pinball simulation for the Sega Genesis that follows a style established by earlier titles in the genre. Its gameplay involves managing various bonuses and special modes, which are common features in such simulations. These include multi-ball phases, extra balls, and a dynamic backglass display. The background music shifts in response to activated specials during play.
The experience is built around three primary themed tables: an aquatic setting called The Abyss, a horror themed table named Trick or Treat, and a Wild West environment. A fourth, circus themed table titled Psycho Pinball serves as a central hub. This table contains special bonuses that can transport the ball to any of the other three tables, a mechanic that enables extended play sessions and the potential for challenging high scores.
