G-Loc: Air Battle Overview
G-Loc: Air Battle is set in a near future where the Citizens Defence Force has seized military assets, opposing the United Nations. The player assumes the role of a UN pilot tasked with neutralizing these forces across multiple combat zones.
Gameplay involves navigating a series of timed stages, each with specific enemy elimination quotas. The perspective is from behind the player's aircraft, with control schemes allowing for inverted or standard flight inputs. Offensive capabilities include a standard weapon and a limited supply of missiles. The aircraft features a damage system where its status deteriorates from red to black as it sustains hits.
Progress is challenging due to strict time limits. Failing a stage consumes a continue, but previously destroyed enemy counts are retained, simplifying subsequent attempts. Performance is rewarded with access to improved aircraft and a final rank, which is also influenced by the selected difficulty level.
