Power Drift is an arcade racing game featuring dune buggies. The game offers a selection of twelve drivers, including various character types.
Racing takes place across five distinct tracks, each subdivided into five stages. These stages present different environments such as urban, desert, and aquatic settings. Progression requires finishing third or better in each stage, making the pacing challenging.
Vehicles are equipped with a simple two-gear system. Collisions with other buggies or roadside objects will impede speed, though the buggy is durable. Successfully completing all stages on a track unlocks a bonus level.
