Wacky Wheels is a DOS go-kart racing title featuring a cast of eight animal characters, such as a tiger, panda, elephant, and shark, each with distinct visual animations. Players can collect various items during races to hinder opponents, including bombs, oil slicks, and projectile weapons.
The game provides multiple ways to play, from solo racing across amateur, pro, and champion tiers to a split-screen option for two players. Additional modes include a timed duck shooting challenge, a dedicated two-player battle arena, and an online competitive feature known as Comm-Bat play. A time attack and a simplified kid mode are also available within the racing framework.
