Pitstop II Overview
Pitstop II is a Formula-1 racing simulation where vehicle maintenance is a central mechanic. Players must monitor fuel levels and tire wear, with the latter visually indicated by a color shift from black to white. Driving on white tires makes the car vulnerable to being knocked off the track by any collision, necessitating strategic pit stops for replacement and refueling.
The game offers competition against either a computer or another human driver. Six distinct circuits are included, such as Brands Hatch and Vallelunga. These can be raced individually or linked for a full Grand Prix championship, which follows official scoring rules. Race length is customizable through a lap count selector, and the challenge can be adjusted across three skill levels, making the experience fair to challenging based on player choice.
