Bouncing Babies Overview
Bouncing Babies is a DOS game derived from the Game & Watch title Fire. Its scenario involves a burning building from which infants are leaping, requiring rescue by a two-person firefighting team.
Players control the placement of a firefighter-held stretcher, which functions as a trampoline, to catch the falling babies and bounce them into a waiting ambulance. Control is limited to three keys, each corresponding to a set position under the building: left, middle, or right. Success depends on anticipating the trajectory of each jumper.
The challenge escalates as the game progresses, with more infants appearing and their descent becoming faster. This creates a challenging pace where timing and positional prediction are central to the rescue operation.
