Air Diver is a first-person combat flight simulator set against a global terrorist threat. The player pilots an F-119 stealth fighter in missions across various international locations and times of day.
Gameplay involves engaging enemy aircraft and boss planes using standard cannon fire and lock-on missiles. The cockpit display provides essential flight data, including fuel status and radar contacts. While the aircraft can perform evasive maneuvers like rolls and loops, enemy detection is constant despite the craft's stealth designation.
Survival is challenging, as direct missile hits are typically fatal and must be destroyed or avoided. The player's craft can sustain some damage from other projectiles during these encounters.
