Lock On is a jet fighter simulation where the player assumes the role of ace pilot Jake Steel. His mission, under United Nations authority, is to confront a global warlord and restore stability.
Gameplay involves completing a series of missions against diverse enemy forces. Opposition includes both aerial and ground based targets such as enemy fighters and tanks.
Four distinct aircraft are available for selection: the Tornado, FSX, A-10 Warthog, and F-14 Tomcat. Each jet possesses unique characteristics and is equipped with weaponry like Vulcan cannons and heat seeking missiles, allowing the player to adapt their strategy to different combat scenarios.
