Toobin is a river racing game where players control characters on inner tubes. The primary objective is to navigate downstream while managing environmental obstacles and a time constraint.
Control involves steering left or right, with the current influencing movement. Players must avoid riverbanks and central dividers. Various hazards like crocodiles, logs, branches, and fishermen are present. A limited supply of tin cans can be thrown to deal with these threats.
Scoring is enhanced by passing through gates along the route. The game imposes a challenging time limit for each course. Successfully completing a level results in a celebratory scene.
