Hollywood Squares Overview
Hollywood Squares for the NES is a GameTek adaptation of the television game show. Its primary mode involves two contestants competing in a modified tic-tac-toe format.
Instead of marking squares directly, players attempt to claim them by evaluating the answers given by on-screen celebrities. After a celebrity provides a response to a question, the contestant must decide whether to agree or disagree with that answer. A correct judgment captures that square for the player.
The overall match consists of three individual tic-tac-toe games. The contestant who wins the match then participates in a final bonus round. This involves selecting one key and one car from separate groups, with a matching pair required to win the automobile.
