Devil World Overview
Devil World is a scrolling maze game that shares fundamental mechanics with Pac-Man, though it incorporates distinct religious themes. The player navigates a maze that moves automatically, directed by an antagonist depicted as the devil.
Gameplay involves gathering dots while avoiding being trapped by the shifting walls. Special crosses provide a temporary power-up to eliminate pursuing enemies. Once all dots are collected, the objective shifts to securing bibles, which closes the enemy source and forces the devil to withdraw.
Following this, a bonus stage occurs where scrolling control is given to the player for a limited time. The cycle then repeats with a new round, making the overall pacing challenging due to the constant maze movement and enemy threats.
