Bomberman II Overview
Bomberman II is a single-screen action game where the player navigates enclosed stages using bombs. The objective is to eliminate all enemies present and then locate an exit to proceed. The game's premise involves the protagonist being wrongfully imprisoned after a frame-up, requiring him to escape by fighting through the jail.
Player capabilities can be enhanced through items that affect blast radius, the quantity of bombs that can be placed simultaneously, movement speed, or even the ability to pass through solid barriers. It is noted that attacking the stage exit with explosives has negative consequences.
Beyond the primary campaign, the title expands on its predecessor by including competitive options for multiple participants. These modes support two or three players, with the sole aim being to outlast opponents by destroying them.
