Alien forces employ various tactics, including dive bomb attacks and the use of tractor beams. If a beam captures the player's fighter, it can be rescued by destroying the captor, resulting in a dual ship formation with combined firepower.
The structure consists of an endless sequence of stages, with a challenging pattern recurring every third level. These designated challenge stages offer a risk free opportunity to destroy targets for bonus points.
