Galaga Overview
You control a small ship at the bottom of the screen, moving it left and right with the arrow keys. Your job is to shoot the formations of insect-like aliens that swoop down. The main objective is to clear each wave without getting hit. The aliens have a specific dive-bombing pattern, and sometimes one will capture your ship with a tractor beam. If you shoot the captor, you can get your ship back, and it will join your current one for double firepower. The game starts calmly but gets faster and more crowded. It feels tense and focused, a test of your timing against a relentless swarm.
