Quarth is a puzzle arcade title where the player controls a craft that moves horizontally. The objective involves completing geometric shapes by filling in gaps within a field of scrolling blocks.
Gameplay is challenging due to the constant downward scroll introducing new incomplete blocks. The session ends if any block line reaches the screen's bottom. Successfully forming a rectangle or square causes those blocks to vanish.
The structure is divided into levels, each containing nine areas. Clearing the final area advances the player. A ten second prompt appears after a failure, allowing the option to retry the current level. A separate battle mode supports two players.
