Lost Secret of the Rainforest Overview
Lost Secret of the Rainforest is an educational adventure game, a follow-up to EcoQuest: The Search for Cetus. The player guides a young boy, Adam Greene, who journeys to South America with his ecologist father. Their objective is to connect with the Grove People, an indigenous tribe, during an Amazon expedition.
Gameplay utilizes an icon-based interface and is designed to be fair, preventing situations where the player can become permanently stuck or the protagonist can die. A notable tool is the "Ecorder", which Adam employs to document observations of the local plants and animals.
After becoming separated from his father, Adam's personal mission expands. He must navigate the rainforest alone to uncover the mystery of the Forest Heart and locate a fabled City of Gold, seeking a cure for the tribe.
