3 Skulls of the Toltecs Overview
3 Skulls of the Toltecs is a cartoon-styled point-and-click adventure. Its gameplay involves selecting verbs to interact with the environment and other characters, a system reminiscent of certain LucasArts titles.
The narrative follows Fenimore Fillmore, who becomes involved in a hunt for a Toltec treasure after a fatal encounter with a peddler. Although he initially obtains one of the three required skulls, he loses it and must recover all three while competing against other seekers.
Players progress by solving inventory-based puzzles through dialogue and item collection. Conversations often present multiple response choices, which can influence the course of the game. Travel across the territory is possible via a map, a hand-pumped trolley on train tracks, or by donkey.
