Aces over Europe Overview
Aces over Europe is a World War II flight simulation set in the Western Theater of Operations. It serves as a follow-up to Aces of the Pacific, with visual upgrades such as more refined aircraft models and enhanced terrain for better orientation during flight.
Pilots can operate for American, British, or German forces, with specific aircraft assigned to each nation. These include the P-38 Lightning, P-47 Thunderbolt, and P-51 Mustang for the United States; the Spitfire, Tempest, and Typhoon for England; and the Bf 109, Fw 190, and Me 262 for Germany.
The game offers campaign modes for all three factions. While not fully dynamic, these campaigns generate varied missions based on the player's selected aircraft and squadron, ensuring a different experience on each playthrough. Missions involve roles such as bomber escort, ground attack, and air superiority combat.
