Zool Overview
"Zool" is a side-scrolling platform game where the player controls an extraterrestrial gremlin. This character, named Zool, has crash-landed on Earth and seeks to earn the rank of Ninja.
Gameplay involves navigating through six distinct worlds, each composed of three stages. The player must overcome enemies and obstacles using abilities like running, jumping, and wall climbing. The action is fast-paced, and the player can collect various power-ups. These enhancements include items that grant extra lives, protective shields, explosive attacks, improved jumping, and a time-delayed duplicate that mimics Zool's movements.
Before starting, several game settings can be adjusted. Players can select the difficulty level, choose between two different game speeds, and set the number of available continues. There is also an option to switch the background music between rock and funk styles.
