Artura Overview
In this side scrolling platform game, the player controls Artura, identified as a son of Pendragon, on a quest to rescue Nimue. The setting loosely incorporates elements from Arthurian mythology, with the antagonist being the protagonist's half sister Morgause.
Gameplay involves navigating four distinct levels described as maze like and challenging in their complexity. A physical map was included with the game to aid in this navigation. Progression requires locating six specific runes, each containing a spell necessary to complete the objective.
Throughout the levels, Artura confronts hostile creatures including spiders and bats using an axe as a weapon. Environmental hazards and traps also present obstacles during the journey to Morgause's castle.
