Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade Overview
Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade is a DOS graphic adventure set in 1938, where the protagonist and his father work to stop Adolf Hitler from obtaining the Holy Grail. The narrative includes locations from the film as well as original scenes, and antagonists range from Nazi guards to the Luftwaffe and spies.
It utilizes the SCUMM interface, where the majority of the screen displays the environment and a verb-based command panel at the bottom is used for interaction. Players manipulate objects and navigate the world through mouse commands. Unlike many contemporary adventures from its developer, this title incorporates action sequences where the player character can die, making it challenging.
The game was released in two distinct visual formats for PC, one supporting 16-color EGA graphics and another with 256-color VGA graphics.
