Time Slip Overview
Time Slip is a side-scrolling action game where the player, as Dr. Vincent Gilgamesh, must stop an alien invasion across different historical eras. The conflict originates from the planet Tirmat, whose reptilian inhabitants plan to save their dying world by invading Earth through a temporal rift.
To counter this, Earth deploys its own agent through an experimental time portal. The gameplay involves navigating levels set in periods like prehistoric times, Ancient Egypt, Rome, the medieval era, and the future. Players use a variety of weapons, from pistols to rocket launchers, against enemy forces and environmental hazards.
The structure involves progressing through stages, defeating a boss at the conclusion of each, while gathering power-ups. The overall experience is challenging, requiring the player to manage both enemy attacks and level-based traps.
