The Peace Keepers Overview
The Peace Keepers is a side-scrolling fighting game set in 2015, where the global corporation Deutschland Moldavia seeks world domination through genetic manipulation. Players initially select from four characters, with two more unlocking later, each possessing distinct combat capabilities.
Gameplay involves navigating levels that often branch, offering different paths and exits. This structural choice allows for varied level sequences and means not every stage must be completed to reach one of several endings. Character selection is permitted after each level, further supporting this non-linear approach.
Combat mechanics extend beyond basic attacks to include blocks, heavy strikes, and special moves that consume energy. A unique system allows characters to enter a temporary, more powerful invincible state if they sustain repeated hits. Additionally, super attacks can damage all on-screen enemies but are limited to two uses per continue.
