Super Nova is a scrolling shooter where players control a starfighter against a returning galactic threat. The primary antagonist, Belser, must be confronted by a team of skilled pilots.
Gameplay involves navigating through levels that scroll in both horizontal and vertical directions. Pilots select from three distinct spacecraft, each equipped with unique weapon systems. Progression is aided by collecting power-ups, including Red Orbs that incrementally enhance a ship's attack capability across eight levels and Blue Orbs that provide a temporary protective shield.
